Seriously? It's over?

Didn't I just have a countdown to the end of the school year?  Really? It's been two months already?  That is so hard to believe, but yep I go back to work on Monday.  Ethan's been transitioning back to daycare this week.  I dropped him off on Monday, and he said "bye momma!"  What am I chopped liver?  It was cute though and I'm glad that he loves daycare so much.  He really likes to go and play with all his friends all day.  So he shouldn't have a problem going back next week, which is what I always worry about.

Anyway, my room is on it's way to getting set up.  Oh, and no AC again!  Why am I surprised?  I mean they didn't fix it all last year, so why would it get done this year?  The men did come and do something to it to get it working again, but when they left they said "see you in a few days", so yeah it must not be fixed.  I'll take pictures of my classroom when I have it set up so that you all can see it!  Aren't you excited?

The Animal Kingdom!
The Tree of Life.  It was so neat, if you look closely you can see some of the animals carved into the tree.
We ate at the Rainforest Cafe.  It was so much fun and we loved it.  Ethan was a little on the shocked side once we got inside.  It was a lot to look at and I think he was a little afraid of the Gorillas and the thunderstorms!  But, if you want your kid to sit still in a restaurant, this is the place to go! We've never seen him so still and just in awe (or fear) before!
Goofy in Dino land!
On the Triceratop spin!
Do I have to say that this is the best place for a boy that loves Dinosaurs?
Grandma and Grandpa in front of the dinosaur ride.  This ride was great! It was scary and very intense.  Ethan was not allowed to go on it, he wasn't tall enough.  Good thing though, b/c I don't think he'd like dinosaurs anymore if he'd gone on it.  Dan and I went on it and then my parents, we took turns and played in the bone yard while we waited.
Well, that was our vacation.  We loved it and had so much fun!  Thanks mom and dad for going with us!

EPCOT

Epcot!  Some people say they hate it, we love it.  It's such a fun adventurous park.  There is so much to do and see.  My favorite part is probably going to all the different countries.  I have a picture of almost all of them, but won't post those here.  You get the idea, I'm sure.
Our second day was spent at Epcot.  We got there early and again left at Ethan's nap.  Ethan loved the "big ball" and kept pointing it out to us, like we could miss it.
The Nemo ride was so much fun.  Afterwards they had an aquarium and these sharks outside of it.  We had to get our picture taken with Bruce!  Ethan wasn't so sure about it and refused to go in his mouth.  Smart boy.
My parents in front of another shark.  Can't remember the name of this one.
Donald Duck!!!  We were so excited to see him!  This is Mexican Donald as he was outside of Mexico.
Some of the countries.
Some fun fountains.  We didn't get a picture of when Ethan planted himself right on top of a fountain.  Butt first that is!  Guess who got all wet carrying him after that.  Yeah, me of course.
Mommy and Ethan in front of Epcot.
Daddy and Ethan having a squeeze.
Making a mask in Japan.
Light squares that you jump on!

DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!
It speaks for itself doesn't it?  We love it and can't wait to go back.  I'm going backwards here, as my dad still has my Animal Kingdom pictures.  Also, the pictures are totally out of order, but what can you do? LOL I'm to lazy to go fix them.  We went for three days and four nights.  We stayed in the park and it was wonderful.  We didn't have hardly any wait for rides or buses.  We left every day at nap time for Ethan to take a much needed nap.  It also was time for us to relax and cool off.  It was VERY hot!  Ethan was wonderful and had only one major melt down.  He was so good that I was actually surprised.  We also didn't use the "leash" and plan on taking it back.  He did fine holding hands, sitting in the stroller, or being carried. (usually by me!)
This is the castle at night.  It changes colors and is so pretty to look at.  We saw this waiting for the parade.
Ethan and Grandpa waiting for the parade.
Mommy and Ethan on the "It's a Small World" ride.  He loved it and we went on this one twice.  I think it was his favorite b/c his face lit up every time!  Those things on his face.  They drove me nuts.  They had these glitter mickey's all over the ground.  Ethan had to stop and pick them up the entire day.  Drove me nuts!!  Then he was so hot and sweaty he found he could stick them on his face.  He is pretty darn cute though, huh?
Dan and Ethan watching the parade.  Ethan loved the parade and started waving to all the characters and talking to them!
A show at the castle.  It was so amazing.  They had the characters out there dancing.  Then the evil queen came from "Snow White" and said that dreams do not come true, and Donald Duck got us all to say "I do believe that dreams come true!"
During Ethan's nap it started raining.  We tried to wait it out, but went back to the park after dinner.  It only rained for about 30 more minutes.  It cooled things down a lot after that.
Anna this one is for you!!  It's goofy! Did you know that when you sit next to him he talks? Totally freaked me out!
My parents, Ethan, and I waiting in line for the Buzz Lightyear ride.  It was great!
The castle during the day.
In line for the jungle ride.  Ethan really liked this one, b/c of all the animals that popped out.  Hmmmm....this may be a tie for favorite!
Okay, so after the Pirate ride (which is my favorite by far) I was walking slow getting Ethan some crackers, when all of a sudden I saw him!  Captain Jack Sparrow!  Oh it was so cool, he kept looking at us and telling us to "shhh" and then pointing away.  He would hide behind these pillars and sneak around just like he does in the movie.  There was another pirate across the way doing a show and hollering for the Captain, and finally Jack joined him and they did a show.  It was so cool!!  I have a video of the show, I will try to load it later, he really did look just like him and spoke just like him!
Seeing our other pirate friends!
Dan and Ethan in Minnie Mouse's house!
I have so many more pictures, but well to many to post.  If you have my walgreens info you can look at more there, (when I get them up! LOL) and I will post Epcot and Animal Kingdom pictures later.

Some random beach pictures

So every morning we would head down to the beach and hang out for a couple of hours.  Ethan wasn't very sure about the beach the first few days, but quickly loved it.
Dan, Ethan, April, and Evan in the ocean.  There was a lot of seaweed and jelly fish so it wasn't the best place to be in the water.  But, they braved it.
Evan in the boat and April talking to him.  This boat turned into a fun baby pool later on in the week!
Me on the beach.
Ethan playing in the sand.  He loved it.
Ethan on the beach.
Daddy and Ethan.  My two boys in red.  Also, neither of them got a bit of a burn! YEA!
Ethan drinking a little sprite! He very rarely gets pop so he loved feeling so grown up to have his own pop can.
Ethan looking for his "memes" (crabs).  He would chase them down with this shovel and then put them in a bucket.  He was quite the crab catcher.  Of course these were just tiny little baby crabs!
I think this is the last beach post.  We had a great time.  We would play games in the evening and read books.  Ethan did stay up late most nights, so we are now trying to get him back on schedule.  But, thanks mom and dad for a wonderful vacation!

Beach Portraits

We tried to get some family pictures at the beach.  Well, if you have a two year old, you know that they only cooperate on their terms.  Ethan did good for a few minutes, then he lost it, so we didn't get many.  But, the ones that we did get turned out really cute.
Ethan cheesing for the camera.  He did the pose and everything on his own.
Our little family.
Just the two of us.  This is when Ethan wouldn't cooperate with us.  He would have no part of this picture.  So we got one of just the two of us.
I just love the colors in this picture.  His hair really stands out and the water is so blue!
An airplane!
