A kid's best friend...
So Ethan and our cat Chip are really good friends. Here is a clip of him talking to Chip. It's so cute. They were both so excited that there was a cat sitting outside the door. Ethan tends to call all cats "bi" b/c our other cat is "vi". But, his word for Chip is something that I can't begin to say or spell, but he says it a lot in this video. Enjoy!

I love you face
This is Ethan's mommy I love you face. LOL Not really sure where it came from, but he wrinkles his nose and then we have to touch noses. Then of course I must wrinkle my nose also. It's really funny and cute. We look pretty silly. Thanks Heather for taking this picture so that I can finally see what we look like!

I love his hair
Okay, so E has the best hair ever! I love how wonderfully red it looks in this photo. I mean it's perfect! Okay, so I'm bragging, but I just love it.

It's back!!
The swing that is!! He loved it when he was 6 months old, hated it last year, and now loves it again! I'm just glad that he still fits!! I added a picture of him in his swing from today, and one from when he was 6 months old. Oh and a video! Enjoy! (see if you can understand him in the video...I understand everything!)

One year and one week
One day and one week. That's how long we were ear infection free. Well, it was good while it lasted. For those of you that don't know, we battled ear infections during Ethan's first year. He had 11 ear infections in a 6 month period, then we put tubes in.

Snow!! Finally!
So we finally had some snow here in East Tn. I was starting to think that E would never get to experience it. He now yells "snow!" when he sees it starting to fall, followed up with a "go see?"! He's so cute. I had to work on his first snow day (I'm not sure how Knox County missed the memo that they should close school, but they did ) so Dan had to take E out before he went to daycare. So all I have of the experience is some pictures and Dan's explanation of what happened. Dan said that he was unsure of the snow, and wouldn't touch it until the very end. But, he did put one finger in the snow, so I can say that my baby has touched snow.

Happy Anniversary!!!
4 years. Yep Dan and I have been married for 4 years now. Happy Anniversary to us. It seems much longer than that, and if you count the two years that we dated... well you can do the math. I am so happy to be married to Dan. He is wonderful. He is my best friend and makes me laugh. I seriously could not begin to imagine life without him and am so thankful that we are together.

My baby isn't a baby anymore
That's right. E is sick with the croup again, so I took him to the doctor today. I know it's the croup as this is his 5th time getting it. But, I just wanted to make sure and they often will give him a steroid shot if his airways are tight.

Dr. Seuss's birthday
Was a hit!! We had a blast. The fifth grade team dressed up as Thing one, thing two, etc. We sprayed our hair blue and the kids loved it. It's so much fun to do stuff like this now and again. We made Oobleck and Green eggs and Ham. I can't wait until next year. We'll have to think up something bigger and better. Now, some of the teachers thought we were crazy, but hey nothing wrong with making the day a little more fun, huh. It was great.
