Our mini vacation

So we went to Chattanooga this weekend.  We had so much fun!  We went swimming, to the aquarium, and to visit family.  It was a nice little vacation.

Twilight Fans

Well, I am a Twilight Fan.  I haven't read the fourth book yet.  I'm on a Patricia Cornwell kick right now, but I'll get to it.  But, this little quiz was fun.  Not sure that I like that they have this character playing Esme either.  I just keep thinking of her as the crazy chick from Grey's Anatomy.  Thanks Lindsey for posting this on your blog!

Potty Training

So I don't have any pictures, I wouldn't want to post those on the internet anyway.  

But, we started potty training on Saturday.  It went okay.  We had accidents and we had some potty time.  Nothing horrible, but nothing to write about really.

But, today is another story.  Dan went to church while Ethan and I stayed home to potty train all day.  He never once had an accident! I'm so excited!  He told me when he had to go potty and he did wonderful!!  I never expected him to do so well on the second day.  We'll see how he does tomorrow.  I hope it wasn't a fluke!  He really loves his underwear though and hates to pee in them.  So I think that has been a great motivator.  

Happy Halloween... almost...

Ethan's Halloween costume arrived on Tuesday.  Right away we opened it and tried it on!  He loves it!  He had to wear it all evening, and wants to wear it all the time.  Ethan is adorable in his dinosaur outfit and when he says "happy Halloween" it just makes us laugh.  Last year, he wasn't into Halloween much, and certainly wasn't into his costume so this will be fun!

Pumpkin Patch

We went on our annual pumpkin patch trip to Oakes Farm.  It was a perfect day with wonderful weather.  We all really enjoyed ourselves, especially Ethan.

We looked at weird looking pumpkins.

We played stack the checkers.

We looked at weird caterpillar hay structures.

We jumped in a pile of corn!  Now this was a good time and we had to drag Ethan out of the corn.

We played in a giant sandbox!  

We rode on a hayride to go pick our pumpkins.

We walked around looking for the perfect pumpkin.

Prayers for a good friend

My good friend Jeanne is 20 weeks pregnant and in the hospital dilated to a 4.  Please send an extra prayer her way, we want that baby girl to stay in much longer.
