Christmas morning, Ethan woke up about 7am. We let him go down and get his stocking, and he opened it in our room. That was fun, just having some alone time with Ethan and watching him open his stocking. He was so excited over the little things. I mean who knew that underwear and socks could be so great. But, I guess when Santa gives them to you they are wonderful.
Owen woke up about 7:30am and we all headed downstairs. Ethan got his parrot that he asked Santa for and Owen a small puppy that barks.
This is the one gift that Owen helped open. This was from Santa for Ethan and Owen. Toy Story 3 figures. They loved them. Look at Owen crying. He's crying b/c Dan kept taking the box away so he could open it. Owen just wanted to hold it in his lap.
Owen decided that was enough opening presents and he wanted to eat. We gave him some cold cereal to keep him busy while we finished opening presents. Ethan got to open the rest of Owen's because he just wanted to eat.
Owen did like looking at his presents when they were open though. He really liked his Elmo that Oma and Opa gave him.
Ethan was pretty excited about these books from Santa. If there is one thing this kid loves it's animals. He loves non-fiction books about animals. I think we have read these every night since he got them.
We spent Christmas Eve night and Christmas day at my parents' house. It was great and nice to be with family. The boys were spoiled some more with gifts from their Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. It was a great holiday and went by way to fast.
