One of my students was clip clopping his feet in the hall: I turned to him and said "there is no need to make all that noise with your feet".
His reply:
"But, Mrs. Crossley these are my high heels!"
Hmmm... seriously.

Ha Ha! I so respect the job you do! I think my capacity for tolerating kid chaos is probably not up to the task of teaching! I really admire the awesome people who dedicate their time to my children! Especially when other peoples kids misbehavior is not nearly as charming as your own. (I personally find my own four/five to be plenty of chaos for me!) Kudos to you!
