Family pictures

So get ready for a picture overload. My friend Kristy took wonderful pictures of our little family again. I tried to only pick out my favorites, but really I like them all and she took like 80. So these are the ones that I like the very best out of all of them. (read down a bit further to see the cake smash pictures she took)

Cake Smash Pictures

Where the cake didn't get smashed. Owen started off mildly interested in the cake. He looked at it. He kind of touched it.

He became interested in the stuff going on around him, and I believe that scared him a little.

He was quite upset that I wanted him to touch the cake and kept trying to feed some to him. Really, look at this pose. He wasn't happy at all with me.

I tried putting him in his highchair to see if that worked. Nope. He started really crying at that point.

The pictures still turned out adorable. Even if he didn't smash his cake. Turned out that he had a double ear infection that started draining later that night. So you can't blame the guy for not wanting to eat cake. He didn't feel well.

Birthday Boy

(I have been without a computer for 2 weeks, finally get to blog about my birthday boy!)

So we found a present that makes our kid do this.......

Who knew a wagon would be so great. He hates everything else, stroller, car seat, but the wagon he LOVES! Loves it. :) I think he feels big or something because he just laughs and laughs when we go for a walk. It works out pretty well at the zoo also.

Party Day Owen had his birthday balloons and like Ethan, at this age it's all they need. He loved playing with the balloon strings.

My family and Dan's family came in for the birthday. Ethan loved playing with his cousins. Eve especially. He was sad as soon as Eve left and said he needed his Eve back. Owen was attached to my hip the entire day, surprise surprise. I swear the kid doesn't like people.

He did enjoy the cake! :) I was a bit surprised because my good friend Kristy had come over to take cake smash pictures a few weeks ago, and Owen would not touch the cake. I will share those pictures later.

The cake sure was good! :) It sure was messy also!
