Trouble

Someone has been getting into trouble lately. In fact, trouble has become his new nickname. Owen has the cutest smile in the world. He flashes that thing and your heart melts. I don't remember Ethan having that "get out of trouble" smile. But the thing is killing me. Here are some of Owen's latest upsets.... that leave me shaking my head and sometimes catching him before he gets hurt.

As you can see, my world has become a mess. I love every minute of it. It does keep me on my toes. He likes to play with things that he isn't supposed to get. Forget about all those Christmas presents, who needs those. Wires, movies, blinds, buttons, and Ethan's toys are so much better than any baby toy could ever be. He's exploring and growing more every day. It's fabulous!

Ethan

Seems that I need an Ethan post. He is now 4 years old and learning so much, that it is amazing. He knows all his letters and letter sounds. His new game to play in the car is quiz mommy. He will ask me what friends in his class start with Z, and so on. He will make a letter sound and say "what letter makes that sound?" I will admit that I miss quite a few of these because it's hard to tell what sound he's making when I'm driving. I told him our phone number the other night and just like that he has memorized it. Amazing what these little minds soak up.

He is super friendly and has a lot of friends.

His teacher at preschool said that he is an energetic child (this is the nice way of saying hyper beyond belief...) and a natural leader. (umm.... bossy??) He is such a sweet boy and we are so lucky to have him.

A nice day

A couple of weeks ago, we had sun. It was wonderful outside. So we went to the "frog park" (Victor Ashe) to enjoy it. Owen LOVES being outside and Ethan got to run crazy. There were so many people out there, that we left the playground and went exploring.
